Description

You will act as a Splunk Subject Matter Expert to engineer, architect, and support Splunk SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement approved Splunk SaaS architecture and design.
• Support and maintain high availability for SaaS Splunk deployments.
• Manage log onboarding and maintenance across various OS, appliances, and application logs.
• Troubleshoot complex integration challenges and configuration issues.
• Maintain Splunk architectural diagrams and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and tool integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience engineering and architecting Splunk or SaaS platforms.
• 4+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing in Splunk environments.
• Proven experience implementing Splunk installations from the ground up, including Search Heads, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders, and Universal Forwarders.
• Hands-on experience with log onboarding.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Splunk, Linux, Windows, and SaaS expertise.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Knowledge of Splunk forwarders and heavy forwarders.
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, CISSP, AWS/GCP/Azure, or GROM certifications.
