Description

You will own the stability, performance, and availability of high-availability SQL Server and MongoDB environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and monitor database servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshoot issues in real-time, providing end-to-end resolution.
• Plan, deploy, and manage high-availability architectures including Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, RAC, and Data Guard.
• Refine and automate routine processes to drive efficiency and cost optimization.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve complex database challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database management and administration.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency with MongoDB administration and operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-availability solutions such as Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, RAC, and Data Guard.
• Solid foundation in ITIL practices, Continual Service Improvement, and Total Quality Management.
• Proven ability to work independently, multi-task, and context-switch across different teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Total Quality Management methodologies.
