Description

You will manage SQL Server databases across the full product lifecycle, from development to mission-critical production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain database servers to ensure high availability, security, and system health.
• Analyze, solve, and correct technical issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization through server configuration changes and complex query tuning.
• Automate regular processes, manage database change scripts, and conduct periodic restoration and recovery testing.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical systems, including scheduled maintenance and release deployments during evening or weekend hours.

Required Skills

• At least four years of professional experience with MS SQL Server Administration.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2008 through 2022 operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Report Services (SSRS).
• Expertise in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience with data modeling techniques and schema refinement.
• Ability to document technical information clearly for team and management review.
• Eight-year combination of education and experience in information technology.
