Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale SQL Server databases for corporate applications in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, focusing on performance tuning and indexing.
• Oversee backup, recovery, and high availability solutions including AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, and Clustering.
• Implement encryption at rest and in transit to ensure data security and compliance.
• Monitor database performance, diagnose complex issues, and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA in a large corporate environment.
• Expertise with SQL Server versions 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Strong knowledge of encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and encryption at rest (TDE, Always Encrypted).
• Experience with AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Clustering, and other HA/DR solutions.
• Advanced T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and database design skills.
• Familiarity with automation tools and monitoring solutions for SQL Server.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
