Description

You will manage and optimize complex SQL environments and legacy data processes.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain complex, extensive SQL scripts for production environments.
• Rewrite legacy processes to accommodate infrastructure changes and versioning requirements.
• Apply security-driven development principles aligned with NIST, Microsoft Trust Center (Azure compliance), and penetration testing standards.
• Execute data management tasks including normalization, aggregation, concurrency control, and data modeling.
• Participate in peer code reviews and document all programming processes and results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration or SQL programming.
• Expert proficiency in Data Manipulation Language (DML), Data Query Language (DQL), and Data Control Language (DCL).
• Advanced SQL scripting skills with an emphasis on efficient and effective syntax.
• Experience with data interchange formats, specifically JSON.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Practical experience working within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile environments using the Scrum framework.
• Strong command of the English language for technical comprehension and articulation.
• Ability to provide availability after business hours as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing security standards set by NIST and Azure compliance frameworks.
