Description

You will manage and evolve enterprise-level database systems, data modeling processes, and complex SQL scripts for versioning and infrastructure changes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Author, maintain, and rewrite complex SQL scripts to accommodate versioning and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Application Designers, and Project Owners on workflow discovery and application design.
• Implement security-driven development adhering to NIST standards, Azure compliance, and penetration testing requirements.
• Apply SDLC processes within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver documented and peer-reviewed code.
• Support after-hours availability as required for system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and SQL programming.
• Expertise in DML, DQL, and DCL.
• Advanced Data Modeling skills including Logical, Physical, and Relational modeling, ER Diagrams, Entities, Attributes, and Cardinality.
• Proficiency in database objects including Functions, Views, and Triggers.
• Strong understanding of normalization, aggregation, concurrency, and data modeling.
• Experience with data interchange formats including JSON.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud services, Blob Storage, and DevOps.
• Experience with SQL Data Tools, MS Power Apps, SQL Reporting Services, and MS Power BI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the Scrum framework.
