Description

You will own the architecture, deployment, and reliability of SQL Server environments on-premises and in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) and SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Manage SQL Server instances on Azure VMs, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for operational tasks and monitoring.
• Design and implement secure networking and storage solutions for database workloads.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and WSFC.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for database administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform and ARM templates.
• Deep understanding of Azure VM networking and storage for SQL workloads.
• 5+ years of experience in database administration or engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
