Description

You will design, develop, and optimize database systems and data pipelines for OLTP and OLAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex SQL objects, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Design and implement data models to support transactional and analytical workloads.
• Execute data migrations and manage the hydration of data analytics platforms.
• Build and maintain custom data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
• Optimize database performance and manage code via Git using pull requests and release management workflows.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience as a database developer with strong SQL expertise.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• 2-3 years of experience implementing data migrations or custom data pipelines.
• 1-3 years of experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and S3.
• 2-3 years of experience with Git, including source control and release management.
• Proven ability in performance optimization and data modeling.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent software development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or Shell.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Glue, EventBridge, Lambda, Step Functions, or CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands, Agile methodologies, or ETL platforms like Talend.
