Description

You will manage and optimize the SQL Server infrastructure supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP, serving as the subject matter expert for General Ledger administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure for Dynamics GP.
• Design, implement, and fine-tune SQL objects (stored procedures, views, functions, indexes) for performance and accuracy.
• Lead complex troubleshooting for technical database and functional GL issues.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by ensuring ERP data integrity.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, emphasizing General Ledger administration.
• Advanced expertise in T-SQL and query optimization.
• Strong experience with backup/recovery strategies, high availability, and database security.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and financial data workflows.
• Experience with SSRS and Power BI for reporting solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.

• Proven ability to collaborate with Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.
