Description

You will manage and maintain enterprise database platforms and hybrid data center infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise database platforms including SQL Server, Azure SQL Services, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Informix.
• Implement transactional replication, indexing strategies, backup/recovery models, and multi-node active-active clustering for high availability.
• Optimize database performance through advanced tuning and management of logical and physical database designs.
• Support a global hybrid datacenter environment utilizing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Administer Windows domain infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, and SQL Server on various Windows Server versions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with enterprise database platforms including SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Informix.
• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows domain environments, including Server 2008-2016 and Active Directory.
• 3+ years of experience supporting and maintaining global hybrid datacenters with Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with SQL language, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, ETL, and Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX, Linux, or AS400 environments, including AIX, RedHat, and SUSE.
• 5+ years of experience with SAN storage technologies, specifically Cisco MDS and Dell/EMC PowerMax.
• 5+ years of experience with end-user computing platforms such as Citrix or Azure Windows Virtual Desktop.
• Proven expertise in database performance tuning, normalization, and high availability clustering.
• Experience with Commvault Enterprise Backup and Storage appliances.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of Nutanix AHV and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
• ITIL Certification.
