Description

Manage and optimize large-scale enterprise database environments using Microsoft SQL Server.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex T-SQL code, including extensive use of stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot SQL and OS-level issues.
• Build automated processing, data validation, error checks, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to improve architectural standards.
• Execute data analysis, consolidation, auditing, and normalization tasks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• 8+ years of SQL design and development experience with versions 2008 through 2016.
• 6+ years of T-SQL development, including database optimization and design.
• Extensive experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) development.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SQL and OS performance issues and errors.
• Experience designing performance testing techniques and automated data validation.
• Strong data analysis, consolidation, and normalization skills in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server 2017, SSAS (Multidimensional and Tabular), SSRS, or PowerBI.
• Background in Data Migration projects or working within Agile environments.
