Description

You will design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database systems to support application development and business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Develop ETL processes using SSIS to import, export, and transform data between systems.
• Perform performance tuning through indexing, query optimization, and database configuration.
• Manage database security, user permissions, and encryption, and execute maintenance tasks like backups and restores.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Development.
• Proficiency in T-SQL for writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2016, 2019, or later versions.
• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Experience with SSIS for ETL processes.
• Expertise in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of database security, role-based permissions, and data encryption.
• Familiarity with database backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Experience using Git for managing database scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSRS, SSAS, or PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS for SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for database CI/CD.
