Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise-level Oracle applications supporting major oil & gas clients.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Build integrations and backend services using Python to consume and develop RESTful APIs.
• Handle JSON data structures for inbound and outbound service communication.
• Utilize advanced PL/SQL techniques, including dynamic SQL, bulk collect, and performance tuning via AWR reports.
• Collaborate with application development, DBA, and QA teams while participating in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development on enterprise projects.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle 19c+ environments, including RAC or Exadata configurations.
• Proficiency in Python for backend service development and REST API creation.
• Strong experience with JSON processing for application integration.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Oracle performance tuning (SQL Profiles, Materialized Views, Partitioning).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and API testing tools like Postman.
• Experience working within a microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop, HDFS, AWS, or Azure.
