Description

You will manage and optimize MS SQL Server environments to ensure data integrity, high availability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain database tables using appropriate storage settings and the Database Configuration Assistant.
• Execute database migrations and manage backup and recovery operations.
• Perform performance tuning at the query and memory levels.
• Configure and maintain high availability solutions including clustering, mirroring, log shipping, and replication.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and manage security and audit parameters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, and 2014).
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database migration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Profiler and Perfmon console.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server architecture and background process functionality.
• Knowledge of clustering, mirroring, log shipping, and replication.
• Administrative experience with Windows OS.
• Ability to perform basic recovery operations and memory-level tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree.
