Drive the development, maintenance, and support of platform applications while engaging in architecture and technical design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support platform applications using advanced SQL techniques.
  • Conduct code reviews, create technical specifications, and perform integration tests.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance through query tuning and indexing.
  • Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge sharing within the group.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS.
  • Advanced SQL development including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Expertise in the SQL BI Stack: SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Strong data modeling skills using normalization techniques and database design patterns.
  • Experience with both physical and logical ERD development.
  • Proficiency in relational and non-relational database design.
  • Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Experience using GitHub and Bitbucket for source control.
  • Ability to manage Windows Server & WSFC, including HA, DR, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience collaborating directly with .NET developers, QA, and product management teams.
