Description

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design, development, and implementation of complex database solutions, often leveraging new technologies
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the team
• Manage multiple, moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
• Provide work leadership by assigning work and resolving problems
• Responsible for troubleshooting, process improvement, and operational excellence

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with SQL Server Administration
• Experience with AlwaysOn performance and tuning, including for large high-tier environments
• Prior Bank experience as an MS SQL DBA, preferably on the Application DBA side
• Proficiency with Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python)
• Experience automating operational tasks, monitoring, and maintenance activities
• Strong sense of problem ownership and client accountability
• Proven ability to deliver within a project-driven environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
