Description

Lead MS SQL database management, focusing on analysis, design, and high-level architecture. Own performance, integrity, and security across SQL Server 2016–2019 environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement physical and logical database schemas, including tables, views, triggers, and indexes.
• Develop stored procedures and functions to provide custom functionality.
• Analyze client requirements to support project scoping, defining approaches and levels of effort.
• Create and document standard operating procedures for database maintenance and system configuration.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with native SQL Server tools.
• 10+ years designing and documenting database structures, including stored procedures, configuration files, tables, views, and functions.
• Deep expertise in SQL architecture and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016 to 2019 migration and SQL Profiler.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and containerization/migration.
• Advanced skills in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency with performance tools and third-party tools such as Idera.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using ER diagram creation tools.
• Ability to execute user and security management.
