Description

Manage, design, and optimize SQL Server environments and data warehouse architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehouse environments with complex physical and logical data models.
• Develop normalized database solutions, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Perform root cause analysis and performance tuning using monitoring tools and query execution plans.
• Manage database upgrades, maintenance scripts, and source control interfacing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL jobs, Integration Services packages, and data load scripts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing SQL Server versions 2008 through 2019.
• Deep proficiency in T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
• Experience with database partitioning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience in VMware environments.
• Knowledge of Windows OS administration, firewalls, and networks.
• Proven ability to manage complex database setups and upgrades.
• Strong production support skills with an understanding of database performance impact.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers of varying expertise.
