Description

Manage and optimize large-scale SQL Server databases handling billions of trading records.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
• Implement partitioning strategies to enhance performance for massive datasets.
• Manage large data movements and loads using SSIS.
• Analyze database performance and provide technical recommendations for efficient data management.
• Maintain database objects and handle end-to-end setup and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server.
• Expertise in advanced performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Deep knowledge of partitioning for large-scale databases.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Proficiency in Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage databases handling billions of rows of data.
• Experience writing stored procedures from scratch.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up and working with databases in the Cloud.
• Python scripting experience to support large data loading solutions.
