Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale SQL Server environments within a banking infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer databases exceeding 30TB in size.
• Manage implementation, code deployments, backups, and user account creation.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for financial services applications.
• Develop and debug SSIS packages and stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance through tuning and advanced platform configuration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of general database administration experience.
• 7+ years as a SQL Server DBA.
• 5+ years focusing on clustering, encryption, standby configurations, ETL, and replication.
• 4+ years of Level 3 support experience in a banking environment since 2016.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server 2014 through 2019.
• Expertise in SQL development, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Profiler traces, sp_BlitzIndex®, and DMV queries.
• Demonstrated experience working within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of data replication techniques.
