Description

You will lead database design, automation, and data load validation while mentoring development staff.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams using Agile methodology and perform Scrum Master duties to ensure incremental product delivery.
• Execute database software upgrades, security audits, patches, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Establish technical standards for the database team and mentor junior members.
• Facilitate cross-functional workgroups to resolve complex problems and mitigate operational interruptions.
• Manage project deliverables using PMI methodology to facilitate corporate and maintenance objectives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a SQL/Server DBA in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with MS BI Stack, including SSIS, SSRS, and PowerBI.
• Experience with data modeling using tools such as Erwin.
• Expertise in ETL processes for data transformation and integration.
• Experience handling diverse data types including JSON, XML, and HL7.
• Proven ability to manage heterogeneous data sources from web/cloud solutions to Data Lakes or warehouses.
• Strong background in system performance monitoring and database security.

Preferred Skills

• SQL/Server DBA certification.
• Experience supporting QNXT and working with QNXT data models.
• Background in the Health Plan industry.
