Description

You will lead the modernization and automation of public cloud infrastructure, managing both technical execution and team development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and support application and infrastructure deployment services for public cloud environments.
• Design and implement monitoring, self-healing processes, and orchestration workflows for self-service automation.
• Lead and develop the team from both technical and managerial perspectives.
• Develop and document operations run books, configuration management, and change management processes.
• Provide technical input on systems engineering, design, and the future execution of environment management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing public cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD methodologies, and technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in GCP or AWS (Compute Engine, VPC, GKE, BigQuery).
• 5+ years of experience integrating CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Nexus, and GitHub.
• 5+ years of experience managing project costs, schedules, scope, and risk.
• 5+ years of experience using Google Suite, Confluence, and Jira.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile/DevOps concepts and monitoring architecture (PagerDuty, Datadog, Grafana).
• Cloud certification at Associate level (GCP preferred) or readiness to obtain one before starting.
• Experience with scripting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IaC tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Software development experience in two or more languages.
• Experience designing and developing Policy as Code.
