Description

You design, build, and operate highly available, fault-tolerant systems supporting core banking, payments, and trading platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE practices, defining SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability decisions.
• Provide L3/L4 incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation for production systems.
• Support and optimize Java-based microservices running on Kubernetes (EKS).
• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Implement monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Datadog, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience supporting core banking, payment gateways, or trading platforms.
• Deep expertise in Java (JVM internals, GC tuning, microservices).
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud services (EKS, EC2, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes (CKA/CKS depth) and Docker.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python or Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling: GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of regulatory audits (SOC2, PCI-DSS, SOX) and security controls.
