Description

You will own the evolution of video encoding and delivery systems as a Senior Software Engineer.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage video encoding and delivery applications in AWS/GCP.
• Lead projects optimizing performance and mentoring junior engineers.
• Evolve the video partner delivery platform by maintaining and improving cloud-based microservices.
• Streamline CI/CD solutions in collaboration with Operations and QA teams.
• Design and enhance the architecture used across all services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience writing microservices from scratch in Golang.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-based video workflows.
• Working knowledge of Cloud SaaS services such as Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
• Experience building Web APIs in Golang and using database technologies like MySQL or Postgres.
• Experience with container technology and management like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Argo.
• Experience describing APIs using OpenAPI.

Preferred Skills

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
