Description

Design, implement, and lead large-scale distributed backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build microservices and event-driven applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Own the design, implementation, and optimization of APIs, authentication, and authorization flows.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for deployed services.
• Mentor engineers while maintaining high-level individual contributor output.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of backend engineering experience, with 3+ years in a senior or staff capacity.
• Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda).
• Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of data-intensive application design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Proven record of technical ownership across multiple product lines.
