Description

Develop emulation testbenches for SoC validation and lead the creation of validation platforms and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review SoC solution architecture to deliver emulator testbench specifications.
• Own the development of the emulation validation platform and debug methodologies.
• Develop and execute test content to identify bugs and run validation checks for high-speed interfaces.
• Mentor junior engineers to meet validation goals.

Required Skills

• 4-12 years of experience in emulation and prototyping validation for SoC and ASIC products.
• Hands-on experience with emulation build skills for a SoC or subsystem in at least one emulation system.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for developing validation test content.
• Expertise in hardware behavioral languages including Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Proficiency in shell programming and scripting using Tcl, Perl, or Python.
• Understanding of computer architecture, system IP, memory subsystems, and accelerators.
• Knowledge of hardware and software interplay during design execution in an emulation platform.

Preferred Skills

• Prior emulation experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, or Ethernet.
• Understanding of SoC security aspects.
