Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize storage drivers for Linux and Windows platforms to support SoC storage devices.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to deliver robust and high-quality storage solutions.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues in storage drivers across development and production environments.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and reliability enhancements for storage subsystems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to peers and team members.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and strategic technical decision-making.
• Author, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation for storage drivers and systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging storage technologies, and advancements in Linux kernel and Windows drivers.
• Contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives within the Driver Development Team.

Experience Required

• 8 - 14 years of experience in storage driver development, kernel programming, or related system software roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and C programming in Linux and Windows environments.
• Expertise in SATA, SAS, and device driver development for storage subsystems.
• Exposure to NVMe, VMware, and modern storage protocols is a plus.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex software/hardware integration issues.
• Experience mentoring and leading technical discussions is desirable.
