Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale highly reliable distributed systems and backend architectures.
• Own technical charters end-to-end, from problem definition and design to implementation and optimization.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive system-level improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers, raising the overall technical bar.
• Influence architecture and technical direction across multiple teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Expertise in backend development using Java, Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Strong foundations in Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proven expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems in production.
• Experience with Databases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, ambiguous technical initiatives independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems or data-driven platforms.
