Description

Architect, design, and develop storage software for converged computing and storage platforms, including HCI, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native environments for AI workloads.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop storage software for distributed systems, focusing on large-scale data organization and concurrent programming.
• Improve performance, scale-out, and resiliency across distributed data paths, control planes, and storage systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, guiding technical direction and delivering complex projects across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by engaging with customers and support teams.
• Contribute to the software development lifecycle using Git, code reviews, and Jira.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of software development experience in product companies involving distributed systems or storage.
• Expert proficiency in C++ and/or Go.
• Familiarity with Python is required.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, TCP/IP, and OS internals.
• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux and Kubernetes.
• Experience with storage access protocols (NFS, CIFS, S3, Cloud).
• Demonstrated experience with fault tolerance and disaster recovery in large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware.
