Description

You will serve as the primary technical strategist for global telemetry architecture, bridging distributed software with network hardware to drive engineering standards for data-intensive initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize ingestion and storage engines using Java and PostgreSQL to ensure high availability at scale.
• Design high-throughput messaging systems with Apache Kafka to process trillions of telemetry points with sub-second latency.
• Define global observability standards by building complex, high-performance dashboards in Grafana.
• Lead the development of massively parallel stream processing frameworks for real-time anomaly detection.
• Serve as the senior authority for root-cause analysis and SLI/SLO monitoring to prevent platform outages.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering and distributed systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java for building scalable backend services.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of Apache Kafka cluster architecture and stream management.
• Proven experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, or ClickHouse.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale network engineering, telemetry, or observability platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and technical roadmap ownership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Model-Driven Telemetry (MDT) and stateful stream processing frameworks like Apache Flink.
