JOb Description :

Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects. Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers. Deliver enhancements that drive the cost efficiency of our cloud platform. Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Contribute to the multi-year strategy to evolve client’s Cloud Platform Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the compute platform.

Your Expertise:

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure
• 4+ years of expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2).
• Experience setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing on large projects spanning multiple teams
• Kubernetes Experience is required.
• Istio/Envoy Experience is preferred.
• Passionate about efficiency, availability, quality and developer experience.

• Strong preference for candidates proficient in Go (Golang)
• Must have advanced Kubernetes expertise, specifically:
  • Hands-on experience writing Kubernetes controllers
  • Experience building and working with admission Webhooks
• We are not looking for candidates whose Kubernetes experience is limited to:  UI-based management “Clicking buttons” or basic cluster operations
