Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, develop, and maintain WLAN PHY physical-layer reference models using C/C++, SystemC, and MATLAB
• Lead end-to-end PHY verification activities from pre-silicon RTL validation to post-silicon bring-up and characterization
• Define use cases and generate reference vectors for PHY block verification
• Collaborate with PHY design teams to complete verification and validation activities
• Work closely with RF and analog teams to define RF specifications and model RF behavior in simulation environments
• Validate WLAN PHY and interfaces on emulation platforms and perform silicon bring-up activities
• Conduct characterization across PVT conditions to ensure datasheet KPI compliance
• Debug and resolve cross-layer issues involving WLAN PHY, MAC, RF, firmware, and board-level interactions
• Identify post-silicon issues and drive improvements in PHY design and verification methodologies
• Propose enhancements to design flows, verification methodologies, and compliance processes
• Mentor and guide engineering teams and contribute to internal/external technical documentation and collateral
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, RF, MAC, and analog engineering groups

Experience Required:

• 5 to 15 years of experience in Wireless Communications or Semiconductor Systems Engineering
• Strong expertise in WLAN PHY, WiFi standards, 3GPP, and PHY layer design/verification
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, C/C++, and SystemC modeling
• Experience in pre-silicon RTL verification and post-silicon validation/characterization
• Good understanding of MAC, RF systems, IEEE standards, and radio frequency concepts
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with emulation platforms and silicon bring-up environments preferred
