Description

Build and own large-scale data platform capabilities for real-time and batch processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based big data infrastructure for batch and streaming workloads on AWS.
• Develop scalable distributed systems and big data applications using Java, Spring, and SQL.
• Containerize services using Docker and Kubernetes to improve scalability and availability.
• Investigate and resolve production issues from the end user through the persistence layer.
• Contribute to engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record building scalable distributed systems.
• Understanding of high-concurrency, low-latency architecture and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Scala, Python, and Databricks.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native engineering principles.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support capabilities.
