Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of software development from requirements through design, build, test, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of microservices with reliable inter-service communication and data consistency.
• Build and evolve backend services using Django/Flask and Python, including API design, security, and performance-focused implementation.
• Work with databases and message queues (including Kafka) to ensure seamless data flow and integrations.
• Drive continuous improvement through technical reviews, root-cause analysis, documentation of technical decisions, and reduction of technical debt.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in web application development or software engineering in a large enterprise environment.
• Python and Django (or Flask) for building production-grade web services.
• Kafka for event-driven messaging and reliable data pipelines.
• PostgreSQL for designing, querying, and optimizing relational data stores.
• AWS and Terraform for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and repeatable environment provisioning.

Good to Have:

• Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration.
• Experience designing and operating microservices and containerized systems.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
