Define system architecture and lead technical strategy for large-scale distributed applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to elevate engineering standards.
• Design and implement scalable distributed systems using synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Write high-quality, unit-tested code and drive continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical conflicts and align on shared stacks.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs to balance speed, quality, and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of industry experience in software design and development.
• 5+ years in an architect or technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object Oriented Programming.
• Deep experience with distributed systems, system architecture, and database design.
• Expertise in algorithm development and software design principles.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C++ or C#.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit) and build tools (Ant).
• Knowledge of transactional and non-transactional databases.
