Description

You will build core backend features for a Security Data Lake ingesting petabytes of data daily. You own the full lifecycle from technical specification to production code, leading architectural decisions and ensuring system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-scale backend services in Java.
• Drive architectural decisions and document technical specifications.
• Lead code reviews to ensure security, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production outages and address security vulnerabilities during on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with product management and architects to guide solution development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java development.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• Hands-on work with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency with S3/GCS object storage and SQS/PubSub messaging.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL, RDS, or CloudSQL databases.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and data scale challenges.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, or Redis.
• Familiarity with DataSet.com.
