You will lead the observability vision and architectural implementation for a cloud-native healthcare platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement standardized observability frameworks including metrics, logs, traces, events, and profiling across services.
• Instrument services using OpenTelemetry and modern tooling in collaboration with platform and product teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and SLOs to monitor technical and business health.
• Lead incident analysis and postmortem reviews to drive system resilience and coverage improvements.
• Ensure observability practices comply with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.

Required Skills

• 12 to 20 years of experience leading SRE or observability initiatives in large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash Shell for scripting and automation.
• Proven track record establishing SLO, SLI, and SLA practices.
• Experience working within compliance-driven environments like healthcare or finance.
• Expertise with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Tempo, Loki, or Elastic.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineering teams.
