Description

You will administer enterprise storage and backup infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and recovery readiness for SQL, Oracle, and virtualized environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform health checks for Veritas NetBackup and related storage appliances.
• Configure and manage backup jobs for VM, file systems, SQL, Oracle, NDMP, and SAP to ensure retention compliance.
• Administer NetApp Cluster Mode, including Active IQ monitoring, SAN/NAS provisioning, and user troubleshooting.
• Perform restoration of VM, file systems, and SQL workloads; support Oracle recovery operations.
• Configure tape libraries and drives; implement AIR to DR workflows and OPS reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration and backup operations.
• Veritas NetBackup administration: monitoring, health checks, troubleshooting, upgrades, and backup configuration.
• NetApp administration with Cluster Mode, Active IQ monitoring, and SAN/NAS provisioning.
• Database backup and restore support for SQL and Oracle workloads.
• Troubleshooting and operational support for backup and restoration across VM, file systems, and database environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NDMP, SAP, Dell Data Domain, and tape libraries/drives.
• Knowledge of AIR, DR workflows, and OPS reporting.
