Description

You will manage storage infrastructure and support data management needs for research environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage NetApp storage systems and perform general storage administration tasks.
• Execute large dataset migrations across storage platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage performance issues.
• Maintain SAN, NAS, and ZFS environments including backup operations.
• Collaborate with researchers to evaluate technical options and implement storage solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage engineering.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp systems.
• Proficiency with SAN and NAS protocols.
• Working knowledge of ZFS.
• Experience managing backup workflows.
• Proven ability to migrate large datasets.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical research stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Interest in learning Starfish and other data management tools.
