Description

Administer RHEL servers on AWS, troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications on WebLogic, and drive modernization POCs for legacy infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers on AWS EC2 instances.
• Administer and troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications on WebLogic, managing JDBC, connection pools, and JVM tuning.
• Provide system-level support for Oracle RDS and monitor performance using Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
• Build POCs to rebuild legacy applications using AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, and microservices architecture.
• Automate administrative tasks using Shell, Python, Jython, and WLST scripting.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration skills.
• WebLogic application server administration and Java/J2EE support.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Shell and Python scripting.
• Understanding of containerization and cloud security best practices.
• Networking concepts and Oracle RDS system administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynatrace monitoring.
• Familiarity with Jython / WLST and JBoss/PostgreSQL migration.
• Healthcare data management and compliance standards.
