Description

You will manage IT operations for on-premises networks, servers, and desktops across Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer over 200 Windows server systems and 500+ virtual machines in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage production incidents by joining troubleshooting bridges, performing root cause analysis, and implementing mitigating measures.
• Execute change requests, routine patching, system audits, and infrastructure server builds following ITSM best practices.
• Monitor data center network equipment, manage escalations, and track system performance and capacity trends.
• Support DISH systems including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and SCCM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and VMware system administration.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments, specifically RHEL and SUSE.
• Extensive networking knowledge including end-user routers, ILL, MPLS, and SDWAN.
• Experience managing Windows, VMware, and backup/restore infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud computing services including EC2, EKS, and S3.
• Proficiency in IT asset management and ITSM processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support 100+ physical Windows end-user systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience automating system maintenance tasks and supporting hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Chef, BeyondTrust, Zabbix, Ivanti, Configuration Manager, Intune, ServiceNow, or VMware Workspace ONE.
