Description

You will own application support for enterprise systems, ensuring uptime and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring problems.
• Administer and maintain relational databases including backups, tuning, and security.
• Support middleware and application servers.
• Collaborate with development teams for deployments and patching.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Working experience with Python for scripting and troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analysis, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Oracle, IBM Db2, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of middleware and application servers like IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic.
• Exposure to container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with incident management, problem management, and RCA.
