Description

You will own storage architecture, data protection, and automation for enterprise infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable storage solutions using SAN, NAS, and cloud object storage.
• Manage data protection, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes, including ransomware security.
• Administer multi-vendor storage environments (IBM, NetApp, Dell EMC) and perform routine maintenance.
• Develop Ansible and Bash automation scripts to streamline operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex storage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Storage Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Deep expertise in storage virtualization from at least two major vendors: IBM, NetApp, or Dell EMC.
• Extensive experience with enterprise data protection solutions such as NetBackup or Commvault.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Ansible and Bash, for automation.
• Solid understanding of storage protocols including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in Agile product meetings and deployment cycles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud storage services.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, AWS).
