Description

You will design and build event-driven communication pipelines for real-time data streaming, integrating ActiveMQ with Apache Kafka in AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions between ActiveMQ and Apache Kafka for near real-time communication within AWS.
• Develop and deploy Kafka producers and consumers for high-throughput, low-latency data processing in a trading environment.
• Build and deploy real-time messaging applications utilizing Kafka.
• Troubleshoot Kafka issues and optimize performance for high-frequency claim events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Kafka, AWS, and Java.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Kafka integrations.
• Proficiency with Apache messaging technologies (ActiveMQ or Kafka) and MQ systems (e.g., IBM MQ).
• Strong Java development experience focused on real-time messaging and Kafka.
• Experience integrating Kafka with Cloud and on-prem applications, managing high-volume data streams.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and fault tolerance.
