Description

You will own the strategic direction and technical oversight of Unix infrastructure, ensuring high availability and compliance across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic roadmaps and design standards for Unix infrastructure and project planning.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and performance analysis across infrastructure, networking, security, and application layers.
• Manage and support Kubernetes platform solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Mentor technical staff and ensure system monitoring adheres to SOX and audit regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to present design and deployment strategies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of advanced experience with UNIX platforms and Linux server technology, with a primary focus on AIX.
• Hands-on expertise with AIX/Linux OS, HACMP, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with IBM Virtualization, including HMCs and IBM Power Series Frame deployments.
• Proficiency in scripting using Perl, Python, and standard shell commands.
• Knowledge of ESX vCenter tasks including deployments, cloning, migrations, and API calls.
• Experience with SAN and NAS technology and mass storage assignment.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and performance analysis for Linux and AIX environments.
• Experience hardening and monitoring systems against security threats in compliance with PCI and SOX standards.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience managing Kubernetes and container solutions.
