Description

You will build, integrate, and optimize security-related Linux and Android components into an RTOS-based infotainment solution for automotive consumer devices.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire security domain lifecycle, including requirements, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Integrate security-related Linux and Android components into RTOS-based infotainment systems.
• Act as a technical bridge between internal and external teams to manage design trade-offs and refine system requirements.
• Develop new features and maintain existing functionality through bug fixes and optimizations.
• Collaborate within a Scrum/Agile environment to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of software development experience on RTOS/QNX and Android platforms at the system level.
• Proven expertise in native Android and the Java framework.
• Strong debugging skills in C, C++, and Java within complex codebases.
• Proficiency with scripting languages including Bash and Python.
• Experience with SCM tools such as Git, Gerrit, and OpenGrok.
• Deep understanding of the Scrum/Agile development process.
• Knowledge of Linux OS and RTOS environments.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
• Practical knowledge of computer security, including encryption, certificates, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Prior experience with automotive infotainment or portable consumer electronics.
