Description

Engineer and validate software for next-generation display technologies, including bring-up, tuning, and optimization of DP/ePHY layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate software for next-generation display technologies.
• Drive bring-up, tuning, and optimization of DP/eDP PHY and protocol layers.
• Debug and root-cause interoperability issues with external monitors and docking stations.
• Solve and debug display-related issues for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable designs for laptops, tablets, and embedded systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in system software or embedded development.
• Strong proficiency in C Programming.
• Deep knowledge of Linux Kernel and Device Driver implementation.
• Experience with Embedded Linux environments.
• Experience with DisplayPort (DP) and embedded DisplayPort (eDP) protocol layers.
• Experience in software bring-up, tuning, and optimization for GPU display interfaces.
• Ability to perform debugging and root-cause analysis for display technologies.
• Familiarity with compliance testing, such as VESA CTS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C++.
