Description

Senior Systems Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of client and server systems across Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Exchange environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of computer networks, hardware, and application software configurations.
• Plan and implement network security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues, replace defective components, and execute data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, travel to client sites to set up systems, and train users on various technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration and network management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Client, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Strong Linux administration capabilities.
• Experience with VMWare servers and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup, Veritas Cluster Server, and Unix scripting.
• Ability to travel nationwide for system setup and client interaction.
