Description

You will manage and maintain Windows and VMware server environments, ensuring system stability and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute operating system upgrades in Microsoft Windows following formal change management processes.
• Provision and manage the VMware virtual server environment as requested.
• Maintain system security on centralized Windows machines and manage regular backups with verified restoration testing for disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance, implementing software updates or parameter changes to optimize results.
• Resolve escalated technical issues, coordinate with vendors, and assist desktop support with end-user problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Proficiency with VMware virtualization.
• Extensive experience managing Microsoft Windows environments.
• Experience with formal change management and maintenance window coordination.
• Knowledge of backup management and disaster recovery testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot network printer configurations and audio visual equipment.
