You will manage and optimize the Windows Server environment and Microsoft ecosystem to ensure stability and security.
Responsibilities
Manage Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
Administer Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) to manage identities, permissions, and Group Policies.
Execute patch management and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks identified in weekly scans.
Lead IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and new technology implementations.
Perform incident response and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and system failures.
Conduct vendor security due diligence and support compliance audits to meet regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior staff and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in systems administration.
Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies including Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (Intune, Defender, SharePoint, Teams).
Hands-on experience with Azure and Enterprise Virtualization.
Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automating repetitive tasks.
Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with Group Policy administration and identity management.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network connectivity and system issues.
Proven experience in capacity planning and system performance monitoring.
